how am I supposed to sparkle if you don't give me any glitter?
It's summer. Okay, it's not officially summer but it has been officially Too Damn Hot™ for days. And that means it's time to get my gin & tonic on. I'm starting off the g&t season by embracing my inner cocktail snob with some Fever Tree tonic. Ever since I found out that most all tonics you can buy at the super-mercado are made with HFCS, I've been looking for alternatives. Last year I was mostly using diet tonic. But I read something online recently extolling the virtues of Fever Tree. So when I spotted some at Southern Season (extra bonus: during clearance sale!) I grabbed up a 4 pack. Totally worth it. At least as an occasional splurge. No idea if I could tell the difference in a blind taste test. But it tastes good, makes a fine cocktail and is fairly budget way to snob it up.
