I'm thinking I may give up on the Fashion Show (aka Bravo's FU to the Weinsteins and Project Runway). I love Isaac and there have been some moments but the show's just missing something and the designers really haven't grown on me all that much. I'll give it one more week but once Top Chef Masters starts up I might switch over to that. There's a limit to how many reality TV shows I wanna be following.
That said, there were a couple of fine moments tonight. Miss Kelly Rowland attempted to out-diva Isaac. Did not work and that is not gonna happen. And to prove the point, later in the show Mizrahi hand-waved away the president of Manolo Blahnik USA as tho he were an annoying gnat of some sort. George Malkemus (who was a guest judge) was trying to make a point about how one of the designs in the bottom two was very saleable and he knew because his background was in sales etc etc. And Mizrahi just cut him off with the observation that this was not Top Salesman. Already this season we've learned that this is not Top Seamstress either. And I assume it's also not Top Scallop.
