Here's a fun list (via Serious Eats) of TV/movie chefs. (fair warning: it's one of those annoying page-hit generating BS click-thru galleries where each entry is a separate screen). But kudos to them for hitting on most all my faves, including the Swedish Chef, Lenny Henry's Chef!, Eat Drink Man Woman, Big Night, Ratatouille, Tampopo, and God of Cookery. The list is very now-centric, though. I'm sure Sarah will remember a bunch they missed from classic movies. The only one that comes immediately to my mind is Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwyck as a 1940s version of Martha Stewart.
