Last year my NYE post was about the giant peep drop in Bethlehem, PA. In that tradition, I'm pleased to shout out the Mt. Olive pickle drop. Every news story should include the words "glowing, 3-foot pickle" don't you think?

So even though today wasn't my favorite evah (had to work, broke my sunglasses, forgot to turn off my headlights and ran my battery down requiring a AAA visit and jumpstart in order to get home, we'd talked about going to Jujube for dinner but put it off too late and couldn't get reservations) it's wrapping up well. We made mac & cheese (w/ Russian kielbasa). Yum. Sarah got a nice little chocolate cake from WFM. And we're watching Astaire/Rogers movies on TCM.
