More proof (as if any were needed) that you should not (not not not) make any important decisions in the morning before you've had at least one cup of coffee. I mean, I've gone out w/ mis-matched socks before but... shoes?!? That's pretty sad.

Could it be so bad if you got out the door without noticing? In the pic, the shoes look similar enough. If you got out the door without noticing, they were probably similar enough in structure (so you didn't get a back ache from pseudo-polio).
My English teacher did that one in 4th grade with two different colors (blue and black) of what I think were the same make of shoe.
Anyway -- I hope you didn't hurt your back.
